A 'Demand Inspection' on October 22, 1999 - we invite the press. Interestingly, Lance Stornetta shows up with the inspector | ||||||||||||
(October 13, l999, County of Mendocino letter to Frank Bacik from Alan Falleri:) Dear Mr. Basik: I have received your letter
dated 10/7/99 requesting documentation relative to the Gould case and will be
supplying the pertinent information as soon as I can gather it together. Please
be advised that much of the information to date has been in the form of telephone
communications for which there is no record, however, I will do my best to secure
all written documents pertaining to this matter. Alan Falleri We had a 'demand inspection' set for the 22 of October, l999, and of course we had just gone back to the farm in Phoenix, spent 48 hours there, and had to turn right around and deal with this. It was our strategy to go public, as fast and as big as we could, and have as many people who would come to said 'demand inspection' as could get there on such short notice. Present at the inspection were reporters from the Anderson Valley Advertiser, as well as the the Independent Coast Observer. Several members of the public, as well as new friends, came along. The inspector who was supposed to come, Mr. Hawley, was a no show. His replacement came at about 5 pm (the inspection being set for 4 pm) in an unmarked vehicle, a middle-aged woman. Also arriving were Keith Foulder, and Lance Stornetta. Foulder is the attorney at this point for Stornetta, and Lance is Stornetta's son. I will put the Anderson Valley Advertiser and the ICO here, as they give a little bit of background. |
